Pike’s Peak Marathon

Pike’s Peak Marathon starts at an elevation of 6,300′ in Manitou Springs, CO and climbs the 14,115′ peak before turning around and running back to the finish.  It is billed as America’s most challenging marathons and the 7,750′ of climbing, at elevation and on trail, should be considered the worlds toughest marathons.
