The Coastal Challenge Rainforest Run is a six day stage race within Costa Rica. This expedition race takes runners through the coastal mountain ranges, jungle valleys, and “postcard” shorelines. Sounds like a perfect vacation for the adventuresome.

Here is Stage 1 – Looks like a great beach town start and a lush rain forest canyon finish. Note the world satellite images are not as detailed as US images. But you should get the idea. The race website has some slides hows with National Geographic worthy images.
