The Badwater 135 is on the cusp of sanity. Starting at the lowest point in the continental United States at -282 feet below sea level, participants run over several mountain ranges through Death Valley befor the final climb to the Portals of Mt Whitney. Oh, ya,,,,one more thing…they do it during the hottest part of summer.
