Lot’s of climbing in the coastal mountains, old growth redwoods, and steep canyons outside San Franciso make this one tough race that is worthy of a “Championship Event.” Single tracks, fire roads, and a lot’s of hills give this course variety which tests all runner’s strengths and weaknesses.

This is a flyover of the Endurance Challenge 50K Race in Marin and includes maps and profiles of the [...] This is race packs in so many awesome views of the Pacific Coast from the ridges and cliffs above the Marin Headlands. Along with the beauty, comes some challenging terrain with lots of ascent and descent. The XTERRA Marin Half Marathon This is probably the most challenging half marathon in the Marin Headlands. Three huge hills with the last having the most insane incline. Gnarly.
